Fast Broadband connection is available. You are always connected to the Internet and can use the same line to make and receive telephone calls.
For standard home and business use, IPStream Max offers downstream line speeds up to 8Mbps and upstream up to 448Kbps, with IPStream Max Premium offering potentially faster upstream speeds of up to 832Kbps. IPStream Max 20G is normally adequate for most users.
For homes or businesses dealing with larger files and/or e-mails, ADSL 2+ offers downstream line speeds up to 24Mbps and upstream up to 448Kbps, with ADLS 2+ Premium offering potentially faster upstream speeds of up to 1Mbps. ADSL 2+ is only available at Exchanges where BT have upgraded their equipment for connection to the 21CN network.
Various download limits are available from 2Gb to 110Gb per month. Special router/modems are required.
All speeds are dependant on the distance you are from the telephone exchange and most users will never achive the maximum speeds potentially available. To check if Broadband is available in your area and your potential download and upload speeds, click here
